It is imperative for young people to have insight to the possibilities of life, especially if they live in poor and marginalised areas of society.

Amazing! A very important project that will make a great difference. Good luck to everyone involved.

All the best for everyone taking part in this amazing project - enjoy! x

Such an important project. Good luck to all involved.

In a world that is becoming more and more tribal by the minute, allowing students to experience a different culture is of paramount importance!

A wonderful opportunity for students. Best of luck and I hope you reach your target.

A great scholarship programme which I am very happy to be able to support. Best of Luck.

Fantastic initiative. Hope you reach your target!

I have seen the difference this project makes to individuals and only wish we could create more opportunities like this for Kingston students.

A transformative project - really privileged to be supporting it!

This is an excellent initiative and I hope you're really successful!

Ngiyajabula! Well done, love the video and the content on this KUbacker page. Keep it up! Let's raise the full amount and send more students on international travel to SA! xxx

Thanks to everyone who bought a wrap today - you helped us to a total of £107 in cash donations, plus a few further online donations to the project.

It was an honour to be part of the Kingston2CapeTown International Scholarship Programme! I got the chance to put what I learned in my degree to practice, gain a greater awareness of the world and others around me and grown as a person. This opportunity is a life-changing experience for students who would otherwise not have the opportunity to study/travel abroad as part of their degree. For various reasons, BME students cannot always access or enjoy experiences that enable them to broaden their horizons and gain the confidence and ability to achieve academically. Therefore, students need support and you can help by supporting this project that will continue to give BME students the opportunity to achieve and excel in all areas!

Thank you to the organisers of this excellent scheme to reduce the BME attainment gap at Kingston University. Please join me in supporting the project and sharing with your contacts.
