PoeticSynopsis: The Yellow Alpha is a simple, bright and poetic narrative film. Agnes is an undergraduate student who loves drawing. One day on the lakeside, She meets Kim, a fisherman eager to catch the fish called "yellow alpha". During fishing, Agnes deeply affects Kim’s attitude and thoughts.

Characters:

Kim: 50yrs, looks a bit stern and rough on the outside, wants to get the Yellow alpha but not very good at fishing.

Agnes: 20yrs, cute and has short hair, born in Hong Kong, is lively and full of curiosity, study in Illustration.

Who you are

I am Yuchen, as the director, the cinematographer, and the editor. I hope to have a discussion between democracy and totalitarianism through this film.
