After such a long wait, we finally received our film and proud to share it to the world. We wouldn't have got this made without the help of our donors. Also we went through another title change from "Outro" to "He Went Some Time in the Night".

Again, thank you very much for your help throughout the year of production.

A message from the director:

Firstly we want to apologise for our production updates being few and far between - in truth we were just waiting for some exciting behind the scenes photos to share! 

Last Saturday night, in the car park of a garden centre in sub zero temperatures, we shot our grad film, 11 months since the ideas were first conceived and plans drawn up. Naturally, the project has taken many twists and turns since then, but it was all the more rewarding to see things finally come to life after fearing they’d never see the light of day (or night, in this case.)

This film could never have been made without our incredible friends and family who supported us financially and morally. We’ve still got a few seconds left on our film stock and that’s reserved to give you all a credit!

The next steps are to send the film off to be developed by the Straight 8 Competition organisers. We’ll be seeing the film screened for the first time in a few months time, and we’ll keep you updated about the exact date and where to find it. We’re all very excited for the outcome and hope that the film will be as enjoyable for you all to watch as it was for us to craft. Again, from all of us, thank you so much.

We're back to the next place; outro

Hello donors, it has been quite a while since we updated. We were devastated as we had to put our production to halt when the lockdown starts mid March this year. We thought a lot of continuing this project and looking for new solutions to get the gears back on grinding. 

Before we graduated, we came across a short film competition called 'Straight 8'. A competition where filmmakers submit a cartridge of super 8 film and have to film chronologically as the short film will be edited after the submission date and will be screened a month after that. 

We are excited to announce that we will be competing with filmmakers from around the globe with this project as well as re-appropriating the same story of the film for the competition. The filming will commence on the 23rd of January 2021. We are also changing our production name into "Outro”.
