Thank you so much to my lovely friend Aggie who ran 10k around Bushy Park yesterday to help raise money for our book!
well done Aggie and thank you so much! X
I was interviewed at Great Ormond Street Hospital yesterday to help promote world kidney day on 14th March.
I was born with kidney problems and had my first operation at Great Ormond Street when I was just 4months old.
I can’t wait for the children at Great Ormond Street now to receive these books to help them through the difficult journey to transplant I have experienced first hand.
Thank you for all the kind donations.
Now 54% funded! this is such an important cause - we have created a book I really wish was around to explain the whole complicated process of kidney transplants to me when I had my first transplant aged 7.
Please help me raise the funds to help the children @greatormondst on this difficult lifelong journey x @jakesabrams

Found this lovely comment at the front of an old book earlier, and it felt very appropriate.
Please help me find this book for the children at Great Ormond Street waiting for a kidney transplant.
It is designed to be both informative and interactive so the children can feel more prepared for the difficult hurdles ahead.
Play specialists at Great Ormond Street can’t wait for the books to be given to the children on Eagle Ward so they can use them as a tool to explain the complicated process of having a kidney transplant to children of all ages.
Just received an absolutely amazing donation from Great Ormond Street Hospital themselves for £1,000!!!
They believe it will be incredibly beneficial to patients and their families and can’t wait for the children to receive their books!
In two weeks we have raised 26% of our target, please please please keep spreading the word, sharing the link and help us get this book to the children at Great Ormond Steet Hospital!
Thank you so much, and hope everyone had a lovely Christmas x
Play specialists at Great Ormond Street Hospital have just said how amazing this book is, and how this simple intervention will make a huge difference to all paediatric kidney patients and their families.
