Filmmaking BA (Hons) Graduation Project
synopsis: After his fiancée leaves him, a Christian in crisis heads into the wilderness to test his faith, only to be seduced by Mother Nature who has cryptic plans for him.
Project summary:
We're raising money to fund our graduation film project! Our film Mother's Messiah, set in the woodlands centres around our protagonist Jude as he battles with religion after his fiancée leaves him. While searching for God's answers in the wilderness, he is met by Mother Nature who has other plans for him.
Our Goals:
Nature needs to be protected. According to the UN climate chief we have 2 years to save the world, nature is our source of life as it provides us with water, clean air and countless more natural resources. Because nature is free, it is often taken for granted and exploited, Mother's Messiah represents this acceptance of our man-made doom, explored through themes of religion and masculinity as the Earth is given a voice.
