Me and my team are raising money for our LGBTQ+/Gender-Queer experimental short film.
We are a small group of third year filmmaking students producing our final graduation film.
The story
This film will be a visual/narrative representation of the process of gender questioning. The film follows Max, a curious and inquisitive person who is having a monotonous conversation with their friend. Suddenly, Max starts to doze off and falls deep into a physical manifestation of their thoughts. Maxine has to confront their own mind to be reunited with their body.
We aim to create a film that is for people who are gender questioning (or have gender questioned). However the themes apply to anyone who feels has ever felt isolated in their own thoughts.
