What if you become a friend with an alien but nobody believes...

A short summary of OUR project

What if you become a friend with an alien but nobody believes you?

On a film festival in London, Frank brings a documentary film which shows the summer time he spent with his friend Bruce, an alien. The audiences question a lot about the authenticity of the film. However, Bruce has left the earth because of the hottness brought by the climate change. Who can help Frank to memorize the great time?

Who are WE?

Hi, I'm Jason, MA student studying filmmaking. Our main crew members come from the same course, including the director Yuguang, the cinematographer Jimmy, sound recordist Shunya, editor Kentaro and the producer myself. We have worked together several times. Our previous works have been selected into multiple film festivals.

This time for our graduation film, we aim more, attending A list festivals, for example, Cannes, Berlinale and Venice. To do that, we have a team of students from UAL, Met, LFS. Still, without public help, we won't have enough fund to support the high quality, industrialized filming. Thus, our biggest help come from you!

Who will watch our film

Filmmakers at the film festivals, students, people from the social media......

                                                                                                             (Data from 2021/2022 HESA)

Our story

Our story consists of three different parts. Part I, Frank spends summer time with alien friend Bruce.

Part II, Frank attends the film festival with his documentary film but nobody believes him.

Part III, Frank has to face the loneliness himself. He has to find someone to remember those great memory.

Through the story, we want to bring the attention to feeling of hot weather and what brings it out, the climate change. Frank lives lonely after Bruce left earth, because of the pollution. Ironically, if human kinds still don't push harder on this issue, we might get alone in this vast space. I am qualified by the BAFTA Albert Certification. In this project, we will also focus on environmentally friendly processes, such as hiring electric cars, purchasing environmentally friendly groceries, and using sustainable costumes and props.
