A short summary of our project

Georgina wakes up in the middle of the night by a phone call from her ex-husband Tom, who tells her that he is moving to America and wants to tell their daughter Nora the truth that Georgina is her mother before he leaves. A few days later, Nora comes to her mother's house and asks her why she can't tell this to her, Georgina seems to have something to hide.

Georgina receives a phone call that her mother pass away, she cried and told Nora about her past at that night, Georgina opens her heart to talks her true feelings about family. It turns out that Georgina's family of origin has caused her indelible pain.

Nora seems have the answers in her mind about Georgina. Before she leaves, she ask Georgina will come to her 15th birthday.

Who we are?

All crew member is MA filmmaking students. This is a short film for my graduation project.

our story

This story explores the impact of the family of origin on the next generation, especially on women. As a female director we are using small actions or conversations to express the special emotions  between the relationship of mother and daughter.
