Our Project

I am raising £1,000 to make an amazing romantic comedy about a woman that is unable to feel romantic love, she finds comfort in a man that loves with all of his heart.

Freya: A cardiologist that has found out that she is unable to love romantically. She flees to her parents home country to try and reconnect with her roots. She is a very serious woman with a lot of remorse in her life and is sad about her situation.

PJ: He is the owner of the building Freya is staying in. He is an aspiring musician, he is sensitive, caring and a romantic. He softens Freya's heart and she falls in love with him.

Why we want to make this film?

"I want to make this film because I am passionate about romantic comedies and want to make people smile and laugh while watching the film. I am making this film because I grew up watching romantic comedies and I am in the time of my life where I would like to make my own and put a smile on other people’s faces as romantic comedies did to me. I will be entering festivals with this film because with the donations the film will have better quality, actors and crew." (Director's view.)

Where will the money go?

I will spend it travelling to Portugal as the film is set there. If we hit the full target the money will go to paying the actors and the crew. As well as food for them. I would also be able to buy higher-quality props and rent equipment. The money will help if there are any unexpected situations that arise. We will be giving weekly updates about the film and showing production photos.
