BA (hons) Fine Art degree show
On the week commencing 2nd of June '18, the graduating class of Fine Art and Art History will be exhibiting their final artworks after three years of making. We are a hard working group of artists with a broad range of practices - with everything from ceramics to performance, painting to sculpture, live music to installations - and are excited to showcase our work to the public. Please show your support by helping us make the show the best that it can be!
Where will the money go?
Breakdown:
£1,480 Printing
£250 Designer
£500 Materials for workshops
- Publication - To accompany our show, we have produced a book that we hope will have a life beyond the private view. Money we raise will help go towards the printing costs as well as supporting a past Kingston graphic design student, James Richardson, who we have worked with in collaboration to design a cohesive publication which represents us as a year group. Our estimated costing for the printing of the publication is £1,480, and an additional £250 to pay our designer.
- Events - During the week of the degree show, Fine Art will be hosting a variety of events that we would like to keep free for the public to attend. Money raised will go towards material costs and the running of the workshops, which we have estimated to cost £500, of which each event will receive an equal division to make them as fun and as accessible as possible. Events include: clay throwing workshops, a spoken word evening, a poetry workshop, dance classes, a children's den building workshop and student-led tours, and more! Keep checking our website in the links below for the latest updates including the websites of each individual on the course.
Rewards
To thank you for your help and support we have a variety of cool rewards to repay you for your kindness. As a collaborative production, the designs of the rewards will be a reflection of the artworks included in the exhibition. Have a look at the selection of photographs below from student work made over the past year to get an idea of what you can expect.
