A bond is formed between an elderly woman and a young boy neglected by his mother.

About us:

We are a passionate and dedicated group of filmmakers from Kingston University currently studying in our second year. We have been united to create, 'The Carp'. Our project aims to explore social anxiety and the impact it can have in hindering the development of a person. The film is set in a realist setting but has a fun surrealist twist on the genre. In an age when social anxiety is becoming an increasing problem, we feel that it is important to shine a light on the topic. We are currently in talks with Kingston International Film Festival to help spread the word about our film which is incredibly exciting.

I'm Alex and I am a Writer/Director from Colchester, Essex. I focus on realist films set in the UK and my recent film "Last Night" won best U19 director at the IMDB qualifying London director awards.

My name is Pacey and I'm a producer on 'The Carp'. I'm a second year film student. This project is very exciting and I look forward to bringing it to life, stay tuned!
