LOGLINE
At a house party, cynical Danii mocks a tarot reading, unknowingly invoking a demonic presence. As terrifying visions blur the line between nightmare and reality, she must confront the beliefs she’s spent her life rejecting as well as the dark force she’s unleashed.
WHY THIS FILM MATTERS
Read Between Tthe Lines is a contemporary horror thriller set against the backdrop of a generation in crisis. This film confronts issues of mental health, peer pressure, superstition, and faith while allowing our audience to experience the thrill and excitement that can only be captured in the genre of horror.
THE TEAM
We are a diverse crew of talented and committed 2nd and 3rd year Kingston University student filmmakers, collaborating on this graduation film project to bring some of your darkest fears to life! Both the Director and Producer are mature female students pursuing their passion to bring stories to life through moving images; with our Director of Photography being a multi-award-winning filmmaker and every crew member being dedicated to their chosen field, this film is our chance to show you what we can do!

BUDGET
We have carefully curated a budget for our project, considering every aspect that will need funding. Luckily for us, our producer allowed us to use her home for the shoot, which has significantly cut our costs. However, we still need your help!
We have budgeted for a test shoot day in February. We will then set up and film over four days in the first week of March, with an additional 'pick up' day shoot later in the month.
Our priority is to cover the expenses of and feed our cast and crew of 21 talented people. We will hope to increase our donations through gift aid.
