This project is an exciting and ambitious endeavor for our team. As passionate movie lovers, we are eager to explore innovative techniques in film production. We plan to use a hybrid approach, shooting with both 16 mm film and digital cameras simultaneously. This combination leverages the unique strengths of each format, enhancing the visual storytelling experience. By choosing science fiction as our genre, we open up a vast creative space, allowing for endless possibilities in both narrative and presentation. We believe this approach will elevate the film, offering audiences a fresh and engaging cinematic experience.

Who we are?

We are a small short film crew, but we have rich experience in film production.

• Wayne Qian graduated from New Zealand Wellington Victoria University with a bachelor's degree and studied at Kingston University for a postgraduate degree. He followed film production at the age of 18 and is now active as an independent filmmaker. He has held multiple film production positions. He is completely familiar with the film workflow and shooting process.
• Alfred Zhou has extensive experience in film photography and has also been engaged in film shooting for many years. He graduated from Leeds University with a postgraduate degree. He has served as cinematographer, lighting engineer and other positions many times, and has unique insights and exclusive skills in cinematography and image presentation.
• Rui Zhou is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Film Studies at Kingston University London, where he is researching the relationship between moving images and reality. Rui is working on an innovative short film project, where he aims to apply some of his theoretical insights into practice. His background includes extensive experience in various roles within film production, such as editing, lighting and sound. These experiences have provided him with a comprehensive understanding of the filmmaking process, allowing him to contribute effectively to every stage of production. Rui is passionate about exploring the creative possibilities of film and is committed to delivering high-quality, engaging cinematic experiences.

The three of us are a mature team in the UK, and there are always new ideas and creativity generated when we work together. Our goal is to make the best film possible, and more importantly, for everyone to enjoy.

This time we have unique help, many excellent actors will join our team. Feride is one of them. She is very talented and has amazing acting skills. She carefully studies the role and story content every time before she shoots. The characters she portrays are impressive. Her stage performance experience has given her a complete system in understanding and performing the role. At the same time, the addition of other actors has given us more possibilities for our work.

We take every film seriously and are committed to ensuring that every film is of industrial standard. We love this art.

We are creating a science fiction film set in a future where AI governs society, exploring the tensions between human intuition and AI logic. This film highlights the risks of unchecked AI power and the erosion of human empathy.

This project is important to us because it reflects our passion for storytelling and our concern about the ethical implications of AI in society. We aim to spark conversation about the balance between technological advancement and human values.
