A short summary of your project

I'm raising money do produce my Major Project Collection which promotes sustainable design practices and encourages mindful consumption.

Who are you?

I'm a fashion design student doing an MA at Kingston University. 

Your story

As the fashion industry is shifting towards sustainability it is becoming a priority to find new strategies that solve the complex issue of environmental responsibility. I want to contribute to a more sustainable fashion industry by investigate design strategies for garment longevity multi- functionality, alterability and mendability as well as physical and emotional durability while determining barriers and challenges in the creation of longer-lasting designs. Using fashion as a language I want to investigating new methods of innovation that solves these complex issues and communicates with consumers within a framework of sustainability.
