A fundraiser for Kingston School of Art’s Internal Graduate Fashion Show
A show CELEBRATING THE OUTSTANDING WORK FROM THE STUDENTS OF THE CLASS OF 2025 BA FASHION
Who WE ArE
This is being organised by the show committee on behalf of the whole year cohort, it is an entirely student organised and student run show by the class of 2025 BA Fashion.
OUR story
We have spent our entire degrees working towards the completion of a graduate collection and each one is as different as the student who designed and made it. There is so much exciting and unique work coming out of the studios at Knights Park whether that be menswear, womenswear, knitwear and size inclusive collections. We have all been working incredibly hard and the show is our opportunity to showcase that. It is both a celebration of our hard work and a celebration of our time at KSA, our opportunity to leave Kingston with a day to remember.
Here is where we need your help, donations however big or small will allow us to create a space for students to celebrate and showcase their skills. The filming and documentation of the day could lead to press coverage which will in turn lead to job opportunity, helping us to set up for a life after University.
Where will the money go?
All donations will be used to fund the student show. We have tried at every corner to limit the costs of the day but as we all know fashion is an expensive business and it is important to us that those helping with the day get paid for their skills! The show is a celebration of many young creatives and those helping on the day deserve to be paid for their time and expertise.
Costs:
Models: There are approximately 90 students all showing 4-8 looks therefore we need as many models as possible to help the day run smoothly. Our expected cost for this is £10,000
Hair and Makeup team: approx. £2000
Models: £4000
Photography team: approx. £1000
Video team: approx. £1000
Sound and lighting team and equipment: approx. £1000
Catering for people working (this is an all day event): approx. £400
Show programs to be designed and printed: approx. £200
Transport of around 344-516 garments: approx. £400
Our total cost is £10,000 and we are hoping to raise £5,000 through crowdfunding with KUBacker.
