My designs are inspired by 1940s and 50s silhouettes, looking at women's gender roles during those times, my garments are torn as if they have been worn down by societal standards. Using acid washed leather and lace to represent this contrast of fragility and strength. I have used lambs skin to extend the narrative of women being hunters and wearing the skins of their pray, overall portraying a don’t mess with us attitude. The funding that I raise for my shoot will be going towards:
makeup artist:£100
Travel expenses:£300
Food expenses:£90
Set design:£250
Studio space:£280
hairstylist:£100I’m wanting my photoshoot to really represent this collection. I have worked so hard to get to this point and would really love the support to complete this vision x
