Who are we and what are we doing?

We are the graduating class of Illustration Animation BA 2025 and we are currently fundraising to put on our graduate show at MKII in Hackney, London from 27th-29th June. We cannot wait to share with you what we have all been working on throughout the past year. With just over 60 of us exhibiting, we will be showcasing a wide variety of skills, techniques, media and talents! 

what have we done so far? 

Since September, we've been holding evening life drawing sessions, live portrait drawing, badge, bake, and print sales, a range of events at the Student Union, and live visual workshops accompanied by vinyl sets to fundraise and properly honour the work that we have been making. As successful as these events have been, we need your help to reach our fundraising goal so we can make the show as spectacular as possible!

Where will the money go? 

Reaching our minimum would be wonderful, as it would be enough for us to pay for the venue and put on a good show. However, reaching our target would enable us truely celebrate our work and time at Kingston.

Some things that we would be able to achieve, include:

• Build a separate blackout animation room for screening
• Host an incredible private view
• Advertise our show to the wider local community
• Decorate our venue to make it represent us
• Collect material for open workshops over the course of the exhibition to engage the community and to get everyone making!
• Create a publication and merchandise for our show!

BREAKDOWN OF COSTS

Venue Hire: £6300

Promotional content (posters, flyers to be posted to local community, badges): £200

Publication production: £600

Travel and Transportation: £400

Constructing black-out Animation Room: £150

Production Costs (event security, signage, technical support, wood, paper, display fixtures): £1850

Catering: £400

Contingency: £100
