Graduating Class Gift 2025
We are the Class of 2025, and we want to celebrate our graduation by paying it forward. We have all known someone who has struggled while at university, and we do not think it is fair that money should stop students from achieving their dreams.
Your £5 donation will go towards the Student Support Fund which supports students who find themselves in unexpected financial difficulty. If we all come together, we can do something incredible for the students who will come after us, this year too!
What will my donation fund?
Your generous gift will support the Student Support Fund, which offers assistance to students facing unexpected financial difficulties. It is often the last resort for students, and makes the difference between completing their studies or dropping out altogether.
I'm sure you understand the challenges you faced when managing your current student finances. You might have had to miss lectures in order for paid work or due to unnecessary travel expenses. The Student Support Fund is designed to assist students dealing with the impact of the cost-of-living crisis, unforeseen bills, extra travel expenses, or small but necessary purchases to ensure their studies stay on course.
Why I'm Supporting the Class Gift 2025
My name is Raha Izzadeen, and I'm graduating with a BEng (Hons) in Aerospace Engineering in the Class of 2025. As a student, I'm surprised by how widespread and often invisible student hardship can be. Many are coping with academic pressure while facing serious financial stress.
Much of this support comes from alumni who made the decision to support 189 current students. It is inspiring to know that there are individuals who genuinely care about the students following behind and want them to succeed. This support helps students stay on track and fosters a sense of belonging here. To those who have donated, thank you. You're not just giving money; you're giving someone a chance to keep going. Your support is a direct way to help students succeed. It's not just charity—it's an investment in potential.

For those that make a £5 donation towards the Student Support Fund, you will receive a special Kingston Alumni gift to thank you for your support. You can collect your tote bag from the Kingston Alumni stand at the Town House reception on the day of your graduation.
