An immersive exhibition on circular living, reimagined through furniture.

Who are you?

Hi! I am Kai-Ho Kao, a student from Kingston University’s MSc Project Management for Creative Practitioners, and Ting-Wan Hsu, a student in the MA Product & Furniture Design program. We’re collaborating on our graduate exhibition and are currently fundraising to bring our vision to life.(Sorry—we don’t have a formal photo of the two of us yet, but we’re fully committed to this project!)

A short summary of our Exhibition

In a future shaped by rising rents and nomadic lifestyles, this project reimagines furniture as modular systems designed for circular living. Users rent durable frames locally and carry lightweight, personalized covers that preserve a sense of home wherever they go. By exploring bio-based materials and community-based production, it envisions a sustainable alternative to mass-produced disposable furniture. This speculative design proposes a new emotional relationship between people and objects—one that supports mobility, reduces waste, and fosters belonging in transient spaces.
