Filmmaking BA (Hons) Graduation Project
Project Summary:
Bound is a harrowing student film project that explores the intricate dynamics of relationships through the lens of Shibari art.
Set in London, the story follows Asian student Kula and British rope artist Arlo as they delve into connection and self-discovery. Their journey is filled with moments of vulnerability, trust and ultimately transformation as they explore themes of trust, loss and the search for true connection in a foreign land. The story is a metaphorical journey of Kula's freedom from her own constraints, both literally and emotionally, leading to a powerful climax of self-realisation and liberation. Our Goal:
We aspire to showcase our work at prestigious film festivals around the world, to gain recognition for our creative team, and to contribute to the wider artistic and emotional discourse.
