A short summary of THE project

We are Product and furniture design students from Kingston University looking to showcase our work at London Design Festival 2026! We hope you will help us raise £8000 in order to find a venue and cover material/transport costs to make this show become a reality!

Who are we?

We are final year students at Kingston University, studying Product and Furniture design (BA), aspiring to make our mark in the industry.

Our story

We have been studying Product and Furniture Design at Kingston University for the past 3–4 years, and this exhibition marks the culmination of our time as students. It brings together our final projects that reflect our passion for design and the skills, research and critical thinking we have developed throughout our studies.

By continuing the tradition of previous Kingston graduates and exhibiting at the London Design Festival, we have the opportunity to share our work with the industry and represent Kingston University.

With your support, we can make this exhibition a success and take an important step from education into professional practice.

Where will the money go?

  • Majority of the money we raise will go into the venue as this is our main cost and needs to accommodate the work of approximately 25 students (50 pieces of work).
  • Our secondary cost will go into materials to elevate the show to a professional level.
  • Below is a breakdown of how we intend to use the funding:
  • Venue hire (one week): £5000
  • Materials : £3000
  • Note that all numbers of items above are approximations based from previous years.

Rewards

  • Donations of £500 and above will be mentioned in our show and social media promotions.
