Graduating Class Gift 2026
We are the Class of 2026, and we want to celebrate our graduation by giving back. Many of us have known someone who has struggled while at university, and we do not believe financial hardship should stand in the way of a student achieving their goals. Your £5 donation will support the Student Support Fund, helping students facing unexpected financial difficulties. We have all known someone who has struggled while at university, and we do not think it is fair that financial hardship should stop students from achieving their dreams. If we all come together, we can make a real difference for the students who follow in our footsteps.
Why I'M Supporting The Class Gift 2026
My name is Alliyah Ayoub-Heslop. I'm graduating with a BSc in Criminology and Forensic Psychology, Class of 2026. Studying my subject has strengthened my interest in understanding human behaviour and the challenges people face, particularly those not immediately visible. Participating in Kingston’s Inspire the Future Campaign gave me insight into how the University shapes careers, builds confidence, and influences life beyond graduation. The Student Support Fund is vital for students who cannot fully support themselves and who face unexpected challenges, helping them overcome barriers and achieve their potential. I would tell donors that their contributions make a real difference, offering reassurance, stability, and hope, and allowing students to focus on their studies and reach goals they might once have thought out of reach. Their generosity truly changes lives.
What will my donation fund?
Your generous gift will support the Student Support Fund, which offers assistance to students facing unexpected financial difficulties. It is often the last resort for students, and makes the difference between completing their studies or dropping out altogether. I'm sure you understand the challenges you faced when managing your student finances. You might have had to miss lectures for paid work or due to unnecessary travel expenses. The Student Support Fund is designed to assist students dealing with the impact of the cost-of-living crisis, unforeseen bills, extra travel expenses, or small but necessary purchases to ensure their studies stay on course.Your Reward
For those that make a £5 donation towards the Student Support Fund, will receive a special Kingston Alumni gift as a thank you for your support. You can collect your tote bag from the Kingston Alumni stand at the Town House reception on the day of your graduation.
